Welcome to our home at La Maison de l’Agachon
Once upon a time you discover a place… a place that never lets you go.
For us, that feeling came with our very first visit to the picturesque Provençal village of Châteaudouble. A hilltop village clinging to the rocks and overlooking the inland landscapes of the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
From the belvedere and from our home, which we have named La Maison de l’Agachon, after the green square on which it stands, you enjoy sweeping views over the gorges, with the Nartuby river flowing far below.
A truly elevated panorama — La Vue Perchée. A name we felt perfectly suited our guest house, where we warmly welcome our guests and invite them to enjoy the view high above the valley.
A place connected to ancient stone and nature… where in the morning the horizon opens before you and in the evening the sky fills with colour.
